5. Account activation
In order to activate your account, you are required to submit the following:
1.Copy of ID
2.Profile photo
3.Profile video
4.Contract
Photo Guideline
✓Please shoot in a well-lit environment
✓Keep the background clean and free of debris (ex : white wall)
✓Straight shooting, no need to leave too much space on both sides.
✓Keep space on the top of the head
✓Just shoot around the elbow.
✓Show the most confident smile(avoid expressionlessly, porker-face)
*Please provide photos of at least 1400 pixels on each side, better more than 3000 pixels.
(If the photos you provide achieve the standards, our designers will be able to make you look prettier and appealing to students)

Video is very important in order to have bookings.
Your introduction content should be suitable for junior students.
Mostly, parents will check your video and decide whether to book your class or not for their children.

MUST FOLLOW INTRODUCTION VIDEO STANDARD
1. Introduce yourself with your Teacher Name and mention that you are a 25Hoon English Teacher. (Make sure it’s the same as your display name, too.)
*For example: “Hello! My name is Teacher [Name] and welcome to 25Hoon English!”
2. Flash the 25Hoon English logo/banner during your Teacher Name and Company introduction(“Welcome to 25Hoon” ).

3. Add background music; adding music really sets the mood in your video. It helps a lot in getting students.
4. Horizontal video (Not vertical video).
5. If you have few month or less than 2 year’s teaching experience, please mention your teaching experience with “quite some time”
✓If you have junior teaching experience, please mention it.(For example: “I’ve been teaching Junior for 5 years now..”). You can also mention the subjects that you teach best and your general strategies.
✓Speech should be clear; not too fast nor too slow. Enunciate properly and be mindful of your pronunciation. As much as possible, try to produce a standard English accent and be natural and confident with the way you speak.
✓Make sure to use proper grammar.
✓The video should be in all English; avoid using other languages as to not confuse your potential students.
✓Be Energetic. Maintain good energy throughout the video.
✓Make the video as fun and as interesting as possible; this will help you get more bookings.
✓Be creative. You can add graphics and photos on your video.
✓Props (visual aid, headbands, etc.) are very much recommended.
✓The video should be in High Resolution and it should be smooth without any lagging. If your video lags, the student will think that your webcam quality is not good in the real class and would opt not to book you.
✓Maintain eye contact with the camera. Keep your eyes focused on the camera, as if you are talking to the student.
Even if you have a script, make sure you don’t focus in it too much because it might make you look unnatural on screen.
