No penalty cancellation

There may be sudden cases when a teacher will have to cancel a course because of uncontrollable situations. Nothing will be deducted from the salary of a teacher who is qualified for a No Penalty cancellation. However, the teacher will not be paid for the course that they cancelled. Common reasons for the No Penalty mark are: The teacher must submit proof of video software issues, typhoons or other natural disasters, website outages, death or hospitalization of an immediate family member, etc. (Teachers must always notify the Teacher Support 1 hour prior to their booked lesson).

Then, the teacher must submit proof regarding the cancellation (medical or death certificate) via the Cancellation Dispute process found on their Dashboards.

Consecutive cancellation case :

1. If the teacher cancels more than 2 times in a week, double penalties will be automatically charged
2.If the teacher cancels more than 3 times in a week, triple penalties will be automatically charged

Cancellation penalty exemptions

The cases mentioned above can waive or reduce the cancellation penalties including power outages or internet connection problems. To be able to cancel or reduce their penalties, teachers must submit proof within 7 days from the date of the cancellation along with a form that can be found on the teacher’s dashboard.

NOTE: Accidents, Death (Valid document Submission is extended to up to 14 days from the incident)
